We've kept pretty busy the last few weeks. We've splurged and went to Boondocks with a few of our family members and had a blast! As soon as our little baby niece woke up Christian was the first to hold her.... someone's baby hungry. BAD.

My family came to visit for the weekend and left the boys at my house while the "older" kids went and watched my cousin wrestle for the state championship. Who knew Costco could be so fun? We of course had to get hot dogs, pizza, ice cream, and churros!... With them being from Idaho and not getting out much we took them to Sears so they could go up and down the escalotors! Yes. It's true. It was a first for some of them. Then we headed to the movies where we had popcorn, sodas, starbusts, and m&m's. I love my little brothers. I'm always afraid that since I'm the oldest of the eight that they will forget about me.... so I try to stay in their lives as much as possible. Another plus about having my family come for a visit is.... my mom can't stop cleaning. SOooo I get a really clean house to end the fun weekend with :)

Hmm what else? ...Christian and I are both going full blast to school.... ugh.... the never ending school. We shall get through it!

Christian's birthday was about a month ago. I took all the pictures with my Ipod... which has crappy resolution so I'm not posting them right now... maybe later. It turned out perfectly!... My mom offered to take Brooklyn for the week since I had reserved a room in Salt Lake for the perfect getaway. Christian didn't have any idea what was going on and had sugge

sted to go see Sherlock Holmes. While he was getting ready I quick packed a bag and threw it in the car. After the movie I wrote down the address to the motel and told him to find it. Super cleaver and romantic right? After driving in the horrible snow storm we made it down to SLC and headed to Tucci's, a small, but DELICIOUS, Italian joint in Trolley Square. Then we went hot tubbing, then to trolley square, to Wise Guys (I had purchased tickets online to see a comedian show and once we got there they told us they were all sold out because a family had reserved it for their Christmas party, in January, so that was a no go... ) We headed to the Gateway and saw Mission Impossible 4.. or 5... whichever one it was, on the IMAX screen. Then called it a night. It was a fun weekend to spend with my now thirty year old husband. I wuv him.

Treehouse museum

My family came down for a visit and we decided to hit up the treehouse museum. Surprisingly it was a lot of fun for all ages... as you can see from the pictures :) I sure miss my Idaho family!!

On a side note, Brooklyn decided to potty train herself. Wahoo! She found some panties in her dresser and put them on and has been doing great ever since!

Under the Sea

I got called into work early Saturday morning. Christian and Brooklyn decided to take the train and meet me down in Bountiful to hang out for the day. Somehow they ended up missing the Woods Cross exit and ended up in downtown Salt Lake. After a bit of confusion, missed exits, and eating lunch with my best friendS we finally met up.
We headed down to the aquarium center in Sandy and hung out a couple of hours. Once again, Brooklyn was obsessed with the snakes. She was too afraid to touch the sting rays but liked splashing around in the water. We got her a stuffed animal from the gift shop which she decided to name "snakes". Original, I know.

Brooklyn facts:

-says, "mom this is delicious" when she eats my home cooked food. I'm not lying.

-likes to hide... but secretly she's pooping because she's afraid of the toilet

-DOES NOT sleep through the night. Wakes up around 1 or 3 a.m. every night! The bags are beginning to show under my eyes.

-Likes cheetos, string cheese, chocolate milk, candy, and Doritos

-Asks everyone if they need a butt kick, or time-out.

-Loves daycare, I think.... I guess she doesn't have much of a say in that aspect lol. I LOVE our daycare.

-Loves barbies, dolls, and coloring on everything.

-Loves movies, especially Dora the Explorer. I'm planning Dora's death as we speak......:)

-We can't go anywhere without some type of silky blanket and her pink hat.

-After getting in trouble numerous times for saying "shut up" she now says "shuck it up"... um not quite sure on the translation there. Knock it off maybe?... It's best that no one knows.

-Likes to grab my hand and put me in time out if I talk on the phone too much.

We finished our last volleyball game yesterday.... now I'm depressed. :( We got second place in the tournament... which sucks but next season will roll around quickly.

I went and saw Twilight with my sister in law.... and Loved it!... as much as you can love twilight. lol. I've been disappointed in the past but this one

Babies Galore...

CONGRATS!! She's beautiful!!.... and Christians cousin just gave birth to yet another beautiful little girl today!!!......... Babies anyone?

Halloween

Happy Halloween from Cinderella! Brooklyn is doing her "fake"cry while saying cheese. She was ready to get out and go trick or treating!.. We made it to about five houses in three hours because we stayed and visited for at least a half hour at each house. Brooklyn had more fun helping pass out the candy anyways. Although we didn't make it to very many houses Brooklyn was spoiled with handfuls of extra candy. We love our little princess.

Now on to November and our 3rd year Anniversary!! Woot Woot!

October Happenings

We decided to finally get up and go to the zoo before it got too cold. I'm glad we did because Brooklyn was obsessed with all the animals. Particularly the snakes, spiders, and giraffes. I'm not quite sure why she loved the spiders so much because she is SCARED STIFF of them at home. Hmm...maybe the bigger the spider the nicer they are?? Not sure.

After the long day at the zoo we decided to stop in at the gateway for some dinner. Ever heard of Ztajas? Not sure if I'm spelling it right, I can't even pronounce it properly. It was delicious though! I apologize to the people sitting around us because Brooklyn wouldn't stop yelling that she went potty in the toilet. Oh the joys of potty training. Then to finish it all up she yelled, "Daddy you need to poop?" Yup. Life is great.

I've been extremely blessed the past few months. I catch myself getting stressed at times, and sit back and realize all the good things I have going for me. I'm applying to nursing school so keep your fingers crossed I get in!.. We've been waiting for the perfect timing for me to go to school full-time and hopefully now is the time! If not, next year will come around quicker than I know it.
