Choices

Choices are hard. Some more than others. This past week has been pure hell for me. I've had zero sleep. I was a stressful wreck. Mean mommy, mean wife..y, and just a pure Biotch... adding an o makes it not a swear word so don't go all crazy on me :) 

I had a huge opportunity come up at work. HUGE. Like my dream since I started the healthcare profession. To work in the cath lab. However, working in the cath lab brings on a lot more stress, and a lot more call, a lot more learning, and lots of hard work. Which I was willing to do, but to what extent? My family would be taking a backseat to my work and that's not how I roll. So... after a week of teeter tottering back and forth between what I should do I decided to decline the offer and stay where I'm currently at. I'm sad, but relieved. My insides tell me this was the right decision.

Another hard choice that's been on my mind is nursing school. I could spend $56,000 and just get it done and over with... or I could wait for the Weber program offered through my work... for FREE. So after a lot of praying, and stressing, I decided to wait.... 

BUT in the meanwhile I will finish up my bachelors at Weber. AND...... maybe a baby??.... maybe........ Christian is working hard on convincing me...... I still remember the bathroom tile all too well from my first pregnancy... so we shall see who wins this battle... Christian... or ME!

Our life....

Ever have one of THOSE dresses that drive you nuts, but you wear it because it's SOOO cute?? Well I have one, it's an adorable jean skirt that I HAD to have.... except when I walk it hikes up.. so then my garments show...and it's a constant battle pulling down my skirt all day.  I was getting ready to play the piano in Relief Society today and wanted to give the skirt a good pull down before I started so no one would see my lovely underwear. So I gave it a good tug, and lo and behold the whole darn thing ripped. Right down the side of my entire new dress. You'd think that with the dress being denim it would have held up better. Noope. So everyone got to see my sexy thighs, sexy calves, and sexy underwear haha. How great. I tried not to give up so easily and went and got some scotch tape... because that's all that the library had.... it only made it worse. At this point, I gave up, and went home claiming defeat.
Christian and Brooklyn had stayed home because of pure exhaustion. We were all up until 3 a.m. the previous night, and we now realize we are a bunch of old farts that need to go to bed at a decent hour. Anyways, when I got home this is how the two of them were sleeping..... they look sooo comfortable!:)

We are both finishing up school this week, and then I get to enjoy a couple months off and then start nursing school! .... Poor Christian gets to keep on keepin on during the summer.
The Random:
Brooklyn is getting surgery May 9th keep her in your prayers! We are getting her tonsils, adenoids out, and a pair of new tubes put in her ears.
