We decided to finally get up and go to the zoo before it got too cold. I'm glad we did because Brooklyn was obsessed with all the animals. Particularly the snakes, spiders, and giraffes. I'm not quite sure why she loved the spiders so much because she is SCARED STIFF of them at home. Hmm...maybe the bigger the spider the nicer they are?? Not sure.
After the long day at the zoo we decided to stop in at the gateway for some dinner. Ever heard of Ztajas? Not sure if I'm spelling it right, I can't even pronounce it properly. It was delicious though! I apologize to the people sitting around us because Brooklyn wouldn't stop yelling that she went potty in the toilet. Oh the joys of potty training. Then to finish it all up she yelled, "Daddy you need to poop?" Yup. Life is great.
I've been extremely blessed the past few months. I catch myself getting stressed at times, and sit back and realize all the good things I have going for me. I'm applying to nursing school so keep your fingers crossed I get in!.. We've been waiting for the perfect timing for me to go to school full-time and hopefully now is the time! If not, next year will come around quicker than I know it.
