Christian and I had to give a talk on Sunday about our temple experience. Can I say..... IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! I personally suck at public speaking so I was extremely nervous for Sunday to come. I was on call for the hospital that day, so i was praying I would get called in and christian could just talk :) After the sacrament was passed I began to feel my heart pounding... it felt like it was going to pop out of my chest! I got up to the pulpit and since my hands were so shaky Ihad clasped them together. Then.... out of nowhere... an inner strenghth came out in me! I felt so powerful, I knew I had the audience captivated. I know it was Heavenly Father helping me get the words across because I know someone in that meeting needed to hear our message. After I finished Christian got up..... who'd ever guess he would cry more than me?? lol He skipped three pages of his talk, bore his testimony and sat down. I've never felt the spirit so strongly in my life.
In the parking lot a man came up to us and began chit chatting. He mentioned that he had an investigator with him today. After our talk the investigator leaned over.... and said..... WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PREPARE FOR THE TEMPLE??? ah!!! awesome right??!! You truly never know when someone is listening. I know without a doubt I was a tool in God's hands. To this day I still feel "powerful" and more aware of those around me.
Im so grateful that we had the oppurtunity to be sealed in the temple for eternity. I couldnt imagine a world without Christian and Brooklyn. People make mistakes, we sure did but What a great trial and learning experience these past two years have been. My life has been forever changed and i invite each of you if your not already worthy for the temple GET WORTHY, and GO OFTEN!!!!!
