REWIND!

I'm pretty pathetic to be posting everyday but what can I say?! I haven't had to work in five days and I need breaks in between studying,meetings, and cleaning haha. I wanted to share with everyone the day Brooklyn was born because I think its HILARIOUS!
I went in for my regular checkup (getting good at peeing in a cup I might add) hoping that it would be a quick one! I had worked the night before and didnt get ANY sleep! I forgot to eat too, don't ask me how a pregnant lady forgets that... :) I can't remember why the doctor ran a stress test on the baby but the results came back REALLY BAD! Christian and I secretly knew she was just fine and needed some food and rest BUT the doctors had other plans. She sent me straight to a high risk doctor who walked in and said, " How do you feel about having a baby today?" Being a pathetic girl I started BAWLING! Not because I was scared or anything but because my cute little nursery wasnt finished! After regaining my composure we went back down the hall to meet up with my doctor to begin preparations. When we got there, a sign on the door said they had all gone out to eat. Figuring if they could go eat, we might as well too! We drove halfway across town to a certain pizza place because I was craving their salads. After taking two bites of my salad my phone rang.... it was my doctor wondering where the heck I was haha. She was in the delivery room waiting for me :) She told me to get up to the hospital asap so we could get things started. Being rather obnoxious I chose to finish eating(every single bite) then slowly,very slowy, went home and packed an over night bag. After dragging my feet a little bit longer we finally made it back up to the hospital. My doctor thought that it would be good idea to run one more stress test and it came back perfectly fine!!! She told me I could go home and sleep and come back in the morning at 7:00am. I'll quick fast forward to the funniest part of all.... First, I thought I was going to boof aka fart hahaha so I kept telling my husband and mother in law not to laugh if it came out. Finally the nurse came in and I was at a ten and just ready to push! I didn't have problems at all pushing, it was kind of weird not having any pain so I was smiling while pushing. However, Christian thought I needed a little bit extra help so he would say 1..2..3.. PUSH! He didn't realize that he was pushing along with me and lol he ended up farting! I busted out laughing, I had a serious doctor look up at me and tell me to concentrate more. Christian will probably kill me for telling everyone but it was pretty hilarious and something I'll never forget! :)

One Step Closer to our FUTURE!

For thepast year Christian and I have worked on getting ready to go to the temple. Lots of hardships have come our way on our journey to reach the temple but were trudging along! I always have nightmares of Brooklyn stranded by herself in the middle of nowhere so it gives me incentive to try harder! NOW for the big suprise!!!! After not being to church in literally months ( I've had to work most sundays,flu bug, everything kept us from church) the Bishopric asked to talk to Christian and I. I was racking my brain trying to figure out what we had done wrong haha. Well.. I got called to be the second counselor in the Young Womens Presidency!! This has honestly been one of my long term goals!! I always thought I could be one of the "cool" teachers that bring treats every week lol. I didn't realize how much goes into putting things together, I've already had five events in one week!! I'll let ya know how my first day teaching goes haha luckily we only have three active girls(in the whole young womens) which is quite a contrast compared to the thirty that I grew up with. I'm glad I can be worthy enough to except the calling and hopefully it puts us one step closer to the temple!Anyways I get to take a trip to the doctors office to see if we can cure my little girl! She's having bloody noses, HORRIBLE cough,super congested everything and fevers. So keep your fingers crossed that we can get some kind of medication for her that will help her get over this darn cold!

So... the testing period is over... and the dog has to go! lol. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs... BUT... dogs should be outdoors not indoors!!! After stepping in little presents she left all over my house, cleaning up the garbage seven hundred thousand times, and finding the remains of diapers she somehow had gotten into I have had ENOUGH! SO.. If anyone would like a dog hit me up! One child to pick up after is enough for me! lol.
My new favorite accomplishment is cutting my husbands hair! I didn't think I could get through it because after the first cut (which was a large portion by the ear) I couldn't stop giggling haha I fel HORRIBLE! After regaining composure I tried to act like a professional and snip random hair here and there AND my end product I thought was pretty good... until Christian told me what the guys said at work.... they asked if he had gotten his hair cut at the Dollar Cuts store and what happened to his ear haha... so... I have ALOT of more practice and luckily hair grows fast!... I still giggle thinking about it :)

the start of a new BEGINNING

So... since I LOVE reading everyone elses blogs I thought I might as well join the fun!! A little intro on US! Christian and I were married November 29,2008. Shortly after a HUGE addition to our family came into our lives.... BROOKLYN!! During my pregnancy I was lucky enough to have a rare condition in which my gallbladder stopped working. Which means my bile was deposition underneath my skin and possibly into the babys lungs. After many tears,13.5 hours of labor and thousands of people scratching my back (I itched like crazy!!) Brooklyn came into the world!!! It has been the greatest experience, along with one of the hardest being a mom. ANYWAYS... enough about that. I'm back in school going for my nursing degree and working at Lakeview hospital... WHICH I LOVE!!!!! Christian is working for a construction company and is joining me in school in the summer. He hasn't decided quite yet what exactly he wants to be but here are some of the few he has thought of: Anethesiologist, a doctor,laywer, engineer,pathophysiologist, and many many more! Luckily, he's a genious so I know he'll do great in whatever he deciedes!!! Brooklyn is currently ten months old and a TERROR!!! haha Who would think one little girl can do so much damage! We love her and her little independant attitude.
NOW for the newest addition to our family: JO-Sandy-Maggie-Butthead- We haven't currently picked a name for her... so she comes whenever we say anything ha. SHE is a pittbull puppy... which my husband brought home from work randomly one day.. Were going through the testing period to see if i can handle having a dog ( I'm not a huge fan i gotta admit)
